Connecting bippity.boo to ParentSquare

ParentSquare is locked down more than a regular inbox, so it needs one extra step from your admin. After that, it works just like CCing a normal email.

Step 1

Ask your admin to add the class address as a guest

ParentSquare doesn't let teachers add outside email addresses on their own — this one step needs your school's ParentSquare admin. Give them your class address (shown on your class portal page) and ask them to add it as a guest.

Step 2

Create a group that's just for your class address

This isn't your parent group — it's a separate group whose only member is the guest you just added (your class's bippity.boo address). Give it its own clear name, like “Bippity — [Your Class]”, so it's obviously not the same thing as your actual parent list.

Step 3

Add that group every time you post

From then on, add the bippity group alongside your normal parent group whenever you send a class post or message — don't replace your parent group with it. bippity.boo picks up everything sent to its group automatically and turns it into calendar events and reminders for every parent.

Not sure who your ParentSquare admin is?

It's usually your school's front office or communications coordinator. Adding a guest doesn't change anything else about how your school already uses ParentSquare.
